Our expertise > Dentures and prostheses
through high-quality dentures
In principle, the preservation of your natural teeth is our top priority.
Dentures and prostheses for a better quality of life
It is hard to imagine life without healthy and strong teeth. Even individual gaps can lead to considerable restrictions, such as unnatural speaking and chewing behavior, overloading of adjacent or opposing teeth, tension in the chewing, facial and head muscles or problems with the temporomandibular joint.
If you have had gaps in your teeth for some time or if it is no longer possible to keep a tooth and you are threatened with the removal of one or more teeth, we offer innovative solutions for dental prostheses and implants that are at the cutting edge of dentistry. Our services include dental bridges, dental crowns, implants (including prior bone augmentation if required), inlays, veneers and removable or fixed dentures. With these high-quality solutions, gaps can be closed and consequential damage to health avoided.
Talking, singing, laughing, eating - simply enjoying life.
Our experienced team specializes in performing aesthetic and functional treatments on your teeth. We offer various options for dental restorations, such as crowns, bridges and dentures, using high-quality materials and state-of-the-art manufacturing techniques. We use the latest technologies for dental prostheses: 3D X-ray, DVT and Primescan
Instead of conventional impressions, we use the digital scanning process (Primescan) for the optimum result of dentures and prostheses.
Instead of conventional impressions, we use digital scanning methods (Primescan) to create highly precise images of the natural impressions of your teeth. In addition, we work efficiently with 3D X-ray/digital high-tech volume tomography (DVT) through to computer-aided implant planning to ensure you receive the best possible treatment.(⇢ more information on our digital imaging)
Dentures at a glance

Dental crowns are a frequently used method in both the upper and lower jaw, especially for severely damaged teeth. They are used to protect the tooth when it has already lost substance due to various factors such as large fillings. The treatment involves the precise grinding of the natural tooth down to the gum line, followed by the fitting of the crown. In this way, the patient’s natural tooth structure can be preserved.

Nowadays, a bridge is rarely the preferred solution when teeth are missing. Making a bridge requires grinding down the healthy neighboring teeth to create the bridge abutments, which unnecessarily compromises healthy tooth structure.
An adhesive bridge in the anterior region, on the other hand, can be a sensible alternative and can replace teeth at any age. An adhesive bridge, also known as an adhesive bridge or Maryland bridge, is a fixed bridge that is bonded to the acid-etched enamel surface of abutment teeth using a special luting resin. The advantage of a Maryland bridge is that the neighboring teeth do not have to be ground down, or only minimally invasively. Adhesive bridges are mainly used in adolescents or adults when teeth are missing due to malocclusion or accidents.

Implants are used to replace a missing tooth by inserting an artificial tooth root made of titanium or ceramic into the jaw. Many specialists recommend this treatment as it does not require any interference with the neighboring teeth. The aesthetic effect of teeth replaced by implantology is almost indistinguishable from natural teeth.
Another advantage is that no caries can develop on an implant. With appropriate care and regular professional dental cleaning, our implants can last just as long as natural teeth.

Veneers are an innovative alternative to conventional tooth replacement solutions. These are custom-made “veneers” that are extremely thin and individually customized. These shells are applied to the tooth surface using a special adhesive. Compared to crowns, the application of veneers only requires minimal grinding of the teeth. Veneers therefore offer an aesthetically pleasing and gentle option for treating minor dental defects.

Inlays, also known as fillings or dental fillings, are usually used to treat the consequences of tooth decay by inserting them into the tooth. These customized inlays are made specifically for each patient. At our dental practice in Seefeld in Zurich, we offer inlays made of ceramic or composite.

There are different options for dentures in both the upper and lower jaw, including various forms of dentures. These are often referred to as the “third teeth” and enable the restoration of chewing function as well as natural aesthetics and pronunciation, which can be impaired in the case of incomplete dentition.
Dentures can be either removable or firmly anchored in the mouth, for example with the help of implants. Our dentures have natural aesthetics and are almost indistinguishable from real teeth.
The All-on-4 / All-on-6 treatment concept offers immediate and fixed dentures.

Timely placement of dentures and prostheses can prevent bone loss.
Titanium or ceramic implants offer an innovative solution for complete tooth loss.
A completely lost tooth not only affects aesthetics, but can also lead to changes in the periodontium, which can cause problems when chewing. Implants provide a stable basis for tooth replacement by inserting artificial tooth roots into the jawbone.
Our modern implants from Camlog® or Patent™ are developed directly in our practice using state-of-the-art techniques and virtual 3D implant planning. Their use is minimally invasive, which guarantees you maximum comfort during the entire treatment process.
Treatment options with dentures
Sometimes implants or bridges are not enough to close gaps between teeth. For extensive gaps, the use of dentures is recommended. These make it possible to regain a natural smile and appear more confident again in everyday life. When treating larger gaps between teeth, we use different types of dentures depending on the size of the gap and the possible anchoring in the mouth.
Full dentures
The full denture, also known as a complete denture or artificial denture, is used when there are no more teeth in the upper or lower jaw. It consists of a plastic plate to which the teeth are attached. The patient can remove and reinsert this prosthesis daily for cleaning and care. The prosthesis adheres to the palate by natural suction forces, and additional adhesive can be used to improve retention. Full dentures help to restore aesthetic proportions to the face and bite function after many or all teeth have been lost.
Partial dentures
In contrast to full dentures, partial dentures are used for patients who still have some natural teeth. These are attached to the remaining teeth or dental implants using clasps. Partial dentures, also known as clasp dentures, transfer the chewing force to the jawbone in order to maintain its stability and prevent bone loss.
Bar prostheses
A variant of the partial denture is the bar denture, which consists of a part that is firmly anchored in the jaw and a removable element that is connected by a bar.
Telescopic prostheses
Telescopic dentures combine fixed and removable dentures. Metal crowns are placed on the natural teeth, which serve as the base for the telescopic prosthesis. These prostheses can be removed for daily dental care and are used in both the upper and lower jaw.
Attachment prostheses
Attachment dentures are a form of removable denture that is placed in the lateral or molar region. They are attached to the existing teeth using a special holder, the attachment.
Immediate dentures | All-On-4® and All-On-6®
All-On-4 and All-On-6
Firm teeth in just one day

What does All-on-4 or All-on-6 mean?
The modern All-on-4 and All-on-6 treatment methods offer immediate and fixed dentures. They enable immediately loadable restorations with just four or six implants. This surgical solution ensures a fast, safe and cost-effective course of treatment. As a result, patients receive fixed and esthetic teeth on the day of treatment.
Only 4 or 6 implants for a strong bite
As a rule, only four implants per jaw are necessary (additional implants in the upper jaw are sometimes useful). Modern techniques such as 3D X-rays, Primescan and computer-aided planning enable a minimally invasive procedure and a quick recovery.
Advantages
With All-on-4 and All-on-6 you get immediate results and a natural chewing sensation. Our patients leave the practice with fixed teeth and can eat and smile normally again immediately. Experience a new quality of life immediately.
